I have been a long fan of King’s Highway Fine Cider for a myriad of reasons, but my top two are that they are local to where I grew up – I grew up about 15 minutes away from Millerton, NY! – and that their ciders boast NO SUGAR! They’re break down how and why they keep their ciders dry right here, and I am thankful for that. I’ll admit that I love a few sweeties, but I largely enjoy drinks – both alcoholic and non-alcoholic – that have little to no sugar in them. When it comes to ciders, give me tart, give me sour, give me quenching!

While home in Connecticut for the long 4th of July weekend – socially distancing while masked and sanitizing my hands, but of course – I eyed this Hudson Valley Peach Smash calling out to me. With peach season really getting into swing over these next few weeks, I enjoyed this as a precursor to biting into a juicy peach sooner than later.

With an ABV of 6.9%, this one had me feeling a little more tipsy than if I had just consumed a regular ol’ peach from a tree. Gee…I wonder why… 🍑 😏
I definitely recommend this cider for some great summer vibes! 😎
